New Display
So, selling at events is quite the learning curve! Whilst I was pretty chuffed with my original display, it was quite heavy to transport and time consuming and awkward to set up, so I've made some tweaks... I've replaced the somewhat cumbersome wood and resin shelves (which will now be filled with tiny plants and mounted on the wall of my studio) with a much simpler frame and easel combination. So much easier to carry and managed to set up in under an hour, woohooo! I also invested in some cool display lights, which worked brilliantly.
And here it is in action at the E17 Designers Spring Market:
We tried out a fab new venue for this one - Mirth, Marvel & Maud (although everyone just calls it the Old Cinema Bar or the Granada!). The building used to be a cinema but is now being renovated as a performance venue and bar after years of neglect - it's such a beautiful place.
I think all craft fairs should have a cocktail bar...
