More Silver Moons
I really enjoyed creating the moon crater texture on the recent moon and cloud necklace commission, so I’ve been having a bit more of a play with it. I’ve been using a combination of carving and heating techniques to create little bumps and craters in the wax, to look like exaggerated moon texture.
The first rough castings have been done and I’m really pleased with them! I’ve carved rings, earrings and pendants – some are pretty chunky so will be great in silver:
And I’ve also done some more dainty ones, which I’m planning to get cast into 18k gold at some point.
I’m excited to get these photographed and up on the website, but in the meantime if you’re interested in purchasing any of the moon designs, do send me an email.
