Silver Party Ring Biscuits!

And so my biscuit obsession continues. It all started so long ago with my little silver custard cream, then escalated somewhat. Now, I've made a silver party ring! Party rings are great aren't they? They were always the absolute best thing about birthday parties as a child, with their lovely, sugary icing.

I started carving this one as a bit of an experiment, not really thinking it would work, so I didn't take any work in progress pictures of the wax carving. but this is how it turned out:

I decided to gold plate the main bit of the icing and leave the icing squiggles in silver. I think it would be fun to experiment with enamelling these in colour - must take some lessons!

Having a bit of a break from biscuits for now, as have lots of orders for my little bees to make.
